The DEI code of conduct provides a supportive framework for how Rotary members can create and maintain an environment that is collaborative, positive, and healthy for everyone. It asks Rotary members to:
- Use respectful language
- Be supportive
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Celebrate diversity
Although free expression is important, what we say and how we behave matter. Rotary does not tolerate speech or behavior that promotes bias, discrimination, prejudice, or hatred because of age, ethnicity, race, color, disabilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Our President, Ewan Cameron, leads us under the Rotary overarching Guide from Rotary International's President, Gordon McInally.
McInally became an ambassador for the charity Bipolar UK. After his brother's experience, he shares a deep resonance with the organisation and has supported it by hosting a webinar about suicide prevention and producing a video about the condition.
One of his presidential initiatives is prioritizing mental health. "My call to action in this new initiative for Rotary," he says, "is that we advocate for removal of the stigma of talking about mental health, help people to find better quality care, and also support them through their journey to recovery."
Rotary International President 2023-2024 is the second Rotary president from Scotland and he embarks on his hope-filled agenda.
